    Chair, James B. Pick, University of Redlands
    James Pick is professor in School of Business at University of Redlands. He is past chair of the Department of Management and Business and past assembly chair of the School of Business. He is the author of 115 journal articles, book chapters, and refereed proceedings in the research areas of management information systems, geographic information systems, urban studies, population, and renewable energy, and author or co-author of eleven books, including Geographic Systems in Business (editor, 2005), Geo-Business: GIS in the Digital Organization (2008), and Exploring the Urban Community: A GIS Approach, 2nd ed. (2012). His current research focuses on web-based spatial systems and spatial statistical analysis of global technology trends. He holds a B.A. from Northwestern University, M.S.Ed. from Northern Illinois University, and Ph.D. from University of California Irvine

    Dan Farkas,
    Dan Farkas is Professor of Information Technology Pace University and the Founder of the AIS Special Interest group on GIS (SIGGIS). He has been innovative in developing curriculum in Computer Security, Web Development and most recently Geographic Information Systems. He has given tutorials and workshops on Networking, Linux Administration, and GIS Concepts to national audiences for over 20 years. He was recently involved in a Pace University grant (funded by Verizon) to provide GIS faculty development workshops across the disciplines. He holds a BA, MS and PhD from New York University and an MS from Johns Hopkins University.

    Secretary, Avijit Sarkar, University of Redlands
    Avijit Sarkar Avijit Sarkar received his Ph.D. (2004) and M.S. (2002) degrees in Industrial Engineering from University at Buffalo - The State University of New York. His research interests are in business analytics and geographic information systems in business. His research articles have been published in Journal of Geographical Systems, IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, and Computers and Operations Research. At Redlands, Avijit teaches a variety of quantitative courses in operations management and management science. He is a recipient of the University of Redlands Faculty Review Committee Awards for Outstanding Research (in 2010) and Outstanding Teaching (in 2009). He is also former director for four years of School of Business undergraduate programs.
    Chair-Elect, Brian N. Hilton, Claremont Graduate University
    Brian N. Hilton is an Associate Professor in the Center for Information Systems and Technology (CISAT) at Claremont Graduate University. Dr. Hilton designed, developed,
    and implemented the GIS Solution Development concentration at CISAT which includes courses on the core concepts and use of GIS for analysis as well as for the
    development of GIS-based solutions. Dr. Hilton established, and is the Director of, the Advanced GIS Lab at CISAT. His current research interests lie in spatial information
    system development, the use of emerging technologies in information system development, and the processes related to the use of GIS to support decision-making.
    He received a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Claremont Graduate University.
